How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book between 6–12 months out, especially for destination elopements that require travel and permits. That said, I sometimes take last-minute elopements if I have availability — it never hurts to ask!
Do you help with planning and locations?
Absolutely. I offer location scouting if possible, timeline help, and permit guidance to make sure your day runs smoothly. Whether you’re dreaming of Cuyahoga Valley National Park or Glacier National Park, I’ll help you find the perfect spot that fits your vision and accessibility needs.
How many images do we receive?
Every elopement is unique, so the final number varies — but you can expect a rich, storytelling gallery filled with candid moments, landscape shots, and those quiet in-betweens. I focus on quality over quantity, and every image you receive is hand-edited with care.
Do you shoot film as well as digital?
Yes! I shoot a mix of digital and print film, including Polaroids and 35mm. It adds a nostalgic, tangible layer to your gallery — like holding a memory in your hands. You can even add a few instant film keepsakes to your package.
What happens if the weather changes our plans?
Elopements are all about going with the flow — but I always come prepared. We’ll have a backup plan and flexible timeline ready to go, and some of the most beautiful, emotional images happen in unexpected weather. Rain, fog, or sunshine — your story will still shine through.
Do you travel outside of Ohio?
Yes! I’m based in Columbus, Ohio, but I travel anywhere in the U.S. (and beyond) for elopements. Travel within the continental U.S. is included in destination collections — no surprise fees or complicated logistics.
How do we book you?

Can we include adventure elements, like hiking or kayaking?
Definitely. I love photographing elopements that reflect your personalities — whether that’s a hike to your ceremony spot, a sunrise picnic, or a post-ceremony kayak ride. I’m up for whatever adventure feels you.
